In 1991, Bose Hospital’s diagnostic arm, BOSE DIAGNOSTIC CENTRE, was launched. This is a state-of-the-art diagnostic facility equipped with MRI, CT Scan, Digital X-Ray, Colour Doppler Ultrasound, Echo Cardiogram, Endoscopy & Mammography. At the time that Bose Diagnostic Centre was opened, no such facility, offering a range of diagnostic services under one roof, existed in and around the region The Centre continues to offer quality diagnostic services to the people in and around Dehri.
Facilities
Bose Diagnostic is equipped with extensive on site diagnostic equipment. We employ cutting edge technology and qualified technicians which are essential to the proper diagnosis and treatment.
CT SCAN
During an injury, it’s crucial to go beyond an X-ray. A CT Scan, Computerized Tomography, helps give doctors an in depth insight to the scope of an injury allowing them to decide the best possible course for a patient’s recovery.
MRI
Magnetic resonance imaging is a medical imaging technique used in radiology to form pictures of the anatomy and the physiological processes of the body. MRI scanners use strong magnetic fields, magnetic field gradients, and radio waves to generate images of the organs in the body. MRI scans assist to diagnose a variety of conditions, from torn ligaments to tumors. MRIs are very useful for examining the brain and spinal cord.
ULTRA SOUND
An ultrasound is a non invasive diagnostic exam that produces images that are used to assess organs and structures using sound waves. In the event of an emergency, an ultrasound will give our doctors the ability to best access the degree of urgency. The echocardiogram is an ultrasound of the heart that provides moving pictures and provides information on the structure and function of the heart.
X RAY
Used for decades, having X Ray Capacity is crucial to be able to get insights to an injury without having to make an incision. During an emergency, an X Ray will help diagnose, treat and monitor the affected area. Mammography is also a procedure which comes under X- rays, whereby x-ray pictures of the breast is taken and used to detect breast cancer.
COLOUR DOPPLER
Colour doppler test is a type of ultrasound test. High frequency sounds waves are emitted into your body and the way the sound reflects back, it creates pictures on a monitor. It especially assists in checking for issues with blood flow, such as clots in your veins or blockages in your arteries.
ENDOSCOPY
Endoscopy is the insertion of a long, thin tube directly into the body to observe an internal organ or tissue in detail.. Endoscopes are minimally invasive and can be inserted into the openings of the body such as the mouth or anus.
